The attack is so rich and supple, giving the impression of super sweet ripe limes and kiwifruit. There is juicy, broad acidity too, which pulls you to the mid palate where there is amazing depth and complexity of the kiwifruit from the opening plus an almost floral element of pineapple and citrus blossom, all intertwined with classic Three Brooms blackcurrant leaf, minerality and smokiness. And there's our comfort blanket - those layers of creaminess and texture over everything and borne out of the wine's inventively managed time on lees.
