Southern Napa has a large selection of Cabernet Sauvignon. There is a reason it's the world’s most popular red wine grape. It is a natural cross between Cabernet Franc and Sauvignon Blanc from Bordeaux, France. Cabernet Sauvignon is loved for its high concentration and age worthiness.
The 2018 Cabernet Sauvignon Gravelly Meadow is a blend of 78.5% Cabernet Sauvignon, 8.4% Merlot, 8% Malbec and 5.1% Petit Verdot. Deep garnet-purple in color, it slips effortlessly from the glass, singing of ripe black cherries, black raspberries and cassis, plus hints of red currants, roses, cinnamon stick and garrigue. The medium to full-bodied palate delivers lovely freshness, offering bags of perfumed black fruits in the mouth, beautifully supported by fine-grained tannins, finishing long with lots of soft-spoken floral and mineral whispers. This perfumed beauty wears the 2018 vintage stamp well, presenting a more delicate expression of this vineyard
Estate Cabernet Sauvignon starts out with savory aromas of raspberry, dried blood orange, violet and black tea. As the wine opens, deep fruit flavors of black currant, bramble, red plum, and milk chocolate begin to show. The palate is rich and inviting with purposeful tannins, considerable length and plenty of concentration.
Fragrant blackberry and black cherry, cassis and rich tobacco spices with lovely fresh earth notes and sweet kiss of new cedar wood. Incredibly concentrated dark berry fruit, fabulously angular tannins smooth with crisp edges. Purple florals, dried sagebrush and chocolate shavings with lots of graphite and deep iron-like mineral character. And a finish of dark saturated fruit that goes and goes; purple floral notes, too, polished and bright with vivacious acidity and freshness evident from the first sip to the finish. Potential 100-point wine. 99 points-Decanter Magazine
Dark Cabernet color with beautiful aromas of black cherry, cassis, plums, 5-spice, vanilla. Big, ripe and mouthcoating across the palate. The flavors are similar to the aromas with ripe fruit, berry/cherry pie, moderate tannins, and nice length. This wine shows enough structure to be age-worthy yet soft and balanced enough to enjoy upon release. Flavors linger in this tasty dense wine. Tastes like Oakville.

This blend of six single vineyards all within this AVA offers a softer, approachable style highlighted by its fruit forward nature. There are notes of bright red fruits, pomegranate, eucalyptus, vanilla and supple tannins.
Hailing from Paso Robles, My Favorite Neighbor is a step up, offering a more complex, elegant style in its crème de cassis, black raspberries, toasted spice, crushed flowers, and graphite aromas and flavors. Deep, full-bodied, and incredibly textured on the palate, with silky tannins, it has no hard edges, a deep, opulent style, and a huge finish.
A pure expression of the varietal, with aromas of plum, currant, espresso and mocha tinged with spice and smoke from the French oak. Herbal notes, bright acidity and fine tannins create balance and structure on the palate.
